The CALS (Canadian Association of Leisure Studies) student working group is excited to host the second annual Chillin’ & Scribblin’: CALS Student Writing Retreat for the month of February (Monday, 16th – Friday, 27th)! This virtual writing retreat includes both asynchronous and synchronous components, including goal setting (asynchronous), collective writing time (synchronous), and special guest speakers (synchronous). Guest speaker topics will include writing and publication tips and tricks, AI considerations, alternative knowledge mobilization strategies, and demystifying the publication process.
