INTERESTED IN HOSTING THE NEXT CANADIAN CONGRESS ON LEISURE RESEARCH?

Members of CALS and others who share their interest in leisure studies meet every three years at the Canadian Congress on Leisure Research (CCLR), a multi-day conference focused on diverse areas of leisure scholarship. CALS tries to insure that CCLR moves around the country and that the character of the CCLR should be maintained in that it is relatively small and intimate, has an affordable registration fee, has affordable accommodations available and is at a time of year friendly to academic calendars (i.e., normally early to mid-May).

The process to choose the host for CCLR17, in 2023, is already underway. The call for interest in hosting CCLR18 is expected in the fall of 2022.
